Sponge Barb Square Heads
I found this little drawing in some of the ancient stuff from my Mom’s house. Yes, I do remember always drawing hair like that. No, I don’t know why.

What’s delaying my dinner?
Even in the Edwardian Age cat owners were dressing up their pets and writing cute captions for them. This photo postcard was made in 1905. I bought it at an antique store near where I live. It’s the world’s first LOL cat, even down to the capitalized catchphrase!

The Baby and the Bull
Lottie DelGaudio and Frank DelGaudio, 1955 (?)
If you look more closely at the picture the stuffed creature the baby is sitting on is actually a cow, as it has teats. But the horns, dark color, and devilish expression do make it seem more like Ferdinand the Bull. Or some strange hybrid of cattle, primate, and [...]

Helen and the Paella
Helen Dittrich chows down on a paella (rice and seafood dish) at a fancy Spanish restaurant I took her to on my trip to the east coast. Yes, that is really half a lobster glistening on the plate! She enjoyed herself and had the attention of all the staff.

Karpinski Konga Line
Walter Karpinski leads the way for a line of dancers at his daughter Virginia’s wedding to Howard Warner in October of 1947. The reception was held at a nightclub in Trenton.
He looks mighty happy here (albeit missing a tooth?) and everyone else does, too, in their glamourous 1940s hats and clothes — the lady in [...]

Techno-gurus
The brother-in-law of my cousin Kathrynmary is hosting a series of do-it-yourself webcast shows on My Home 2.0. Here he fixes up an old chair so it plays a pipe organ when someone sits down.
