New Hope
I love New Hope. I love the shopping. And I love that you never really know what you will find. Here, Joan found a chief.. And Violet found a dragon! I asked her what she liked the best of all the things we did in May, and without hesitation, she said “New Hope”!

Slander
I know Trenton, NJ was a mild-to-medium rough place to grow up in, but this online Mafia role-playing game is questionable: Trenton Made. Play it, if you dare.

Space Wallpaper
Barbara and Helen Dittrich, Christmas 1959 Looks like Barbara is being taught to pray here. Her robe almost matches the quilt on the bed, which in turn does not match the wallpaper, which features a 1950s idea of space exploration. In fact the baby dolls in the crib at the far right might just be [...]

Patches
This was from the lost roll of film from 1975 I mentioned earlier. One of the pics was of Patches, my first cat, as a kitten. I must have taken it because my mom is holding her. April 1975 I love the soft focus and depth of field created in the shot. There’s a ghost [...]

We started on this project at the end of February. The first thing, take out the old cherry tree by the side of the carport. It was a nice tree but dying little by little over the years until only one branch produced leaves and fruit. So, it had to go. Alberto and Faustino do [...]

The Cheese Steak You can’t go to Philly and not get a cheese steak! As you can see, Violet and I sure enjoyed ours. Then we went to a diner…a real diner… With a juke box! For dessert we went to Rita’s And had a delicious gelatti. Valerie was fine, but I was a little [...]

Sharks Cove
My most favorite beach on the North Shore is Sharks Cove. In the Summer it’s a huge tide pool that’s just so much fun to explore. There are shallow areas and deep areas over your head that you can swim in. Lots of fish and sea urchins. The rocks make it interesting to navigate, and [...]
